A Woman of the New Generation

One weary night;
Of total Darkness
And total Weakness;
We had this Fight
That blurred my sight;
It bends my total tenderness
That results to my rebelliousness.
Oh! What a weary night?!
Being a woman
Seems to be frail
But you have to continue on sail!;
To prove your power as a Superwoman;
A hero in trail
That protects your own tale!
If you will look upon the shape of my poem, you can figure out an imaginary lamp. It just symbolizes the traditional woman as "the light of the house". A traditional women are said to be dominated by men. On the other hand, the imaginary lamp figure symbolizes the woman of the new generation. Woman of the new generation is said to be more en-lighted by their rights as a human.
This poem signifies the "girl power" of today's generation. Being a woman is said to be being fragile, meaning being weak. Some said it is really hard to be a woman. Is it? Or we ourselves are just making things more complicated?
As a woman admit it or not our main weaknesses is "love" and love alone. Sometimes we are defeated by our own emotions towards our loved ones. Sacrifices are to be made unselfishly or unconditionally. But it is not right to give everything to our dearly loved ones. Before loving others, we have to love and respect ourselves first.
I always dreamed of being treated as a princess. And of course you may also. Right? But in reality there's no such perfect life. We live for others and so do others too. We have to live in reality...
As a woman, we have to protect ourselves from the dimness of reality...---abuses of being a woman. It may be physical, emotional or sexual. We are the superheroes of our own lives. Before protecting others, you have to protect yourself first.
Be strong!!!
